Biography

Clandestino , on the first Sunday of every month, is a meeting of quality underground music and stylish clubbers. They gather in AKA and the End lounge - dancing, drinking, pouting and fluttering their eyelashes over the top of their oversized sunglasses to a delicious soundtrack of seductive stripped down house and melodic electro.

Clandestino was started in October 2002 by Miss Jools and Luca Elle , who had played together in the past and wanted to start their own little haven of music and decadence in the heart of London. This is a sophisticated house club soundtracked by driving underground music and frequented by a hedonistic crowd who look as good as the music sounds.

Even on a dark November Sunday night, Clandestino seems to transport you to somewhere infinitely more carefree and sunny, even if only for a few hours. It banishes the Sunday night blues so well it may as well be Friday again. Except that one of the reasons it's so special is that Sunday night clubbing weeds out any half-hearted stragglers, leaving space on the dancefloor for the true party people.

The Clandestino crowd may look good, but they aren't afraid to lose themselves on the dancefloor 'till 6am on a Monday morning. Want to join the party? Dress up to get down, and adopt a devil-may-care attitude to the start of the week.
