Promised Land was one of the first drum & bass all-nighters in central London, and one of The End’s earliest drum & bass nights, first taking place on Maundy Thursday, Easter 1996 – just four months after the club launched. The night focused on the jazzier, more atmospheric end of the spectrum and featured the likes of LTJ Bukem, Fabio, Alex Reece, Peshay and Grooverider.
