The Clash

The Clash is a new club in Sao Paulo, and it’s a big one. It has a really nice sound system and is seen as a trendy, cool bar regularly visited by the ‘beautiful people’. 

Trilha da Pedra Grande

This a really beautiful park in Sao Paulo.  It’s a perfect place to get away from the city and relax on the weekends. After walking around seven miles through the mountain, you can see most of the city, which if you have been to Sao Paulo you will know is an awesome sight. Unique.

D Edge

D Edge is a traditional club and probably one of the best known in the city, with a peculiar design of lights and a great sound system. It’s a fine place for those who like good and intelligent music and is considered one of the best clubs in the world.

Champagne

Champagne is a real favourite of mine and I would say it’s the best traditional Brazilian food restaurant in Sao Paulo. It is located near to a train station and has a fantastic menu with great variety across the board.
Horto Florestal (park)

It isn’t the biggest park in São Paulo, but the only one made up of original and preserved Atlantic flowers and forestry, located in the north of the city.

Arcos da Cantereira

This restaurant serves the finest pasta and meat in the city, with a great view of the forest for dessert.

Sarajevo

This is another very stylish and modern club and is probably the best underground club in the city. It has three rooms playing a good variety of music, from jazz/Brazilian to reggae/dub.

This is one of the biggest electronic festivals in the world. It unites the biggest producers and DJs from around the world in a multitude of styles.

Parque do Ibirapuera

Located between the centre and the south of the city. It’s the biggest park in Sao Paulo and is the best option for travellers right in the middle of the busiest part of the city.

Mercado Municipal

This is a big market with a huge variety of tropical food. Located in the centre of the city, it’s had a massive makeover recently to improve its appeal and function.
