The End eTickets are launched
We talk you through our new ticketing system on endclub.com
Regular End goers may have noticed that you can now buy tickets for some of your favourite weekend nights directly from us. For those who haven’t given it a try and want a little bit more info before taking the plunge, our endcub.com webmaster Don MacBeath gives us the low down on our new in-house ticketing system.
What is an endclub.com eTicket?
Alongside our new endclub.com website, we have developed our own in-house ticketing system to allow our customers to buy a printable ticket with security barcodes, via email, safely and securely. After running a few small-scale live trials in December and January, we are rolling out the system for the majority of our weekend events as of this month.
Who are Worldpay?
Those who have already bought eTickets will notice that we use a Worldpay online interface to handle our monetary transactions. Worldpay are owned by The Royal Bank of Scotland and are one of the Internet’s longest running and most respected companies in processing transactions of this kind, so we can ensure that your personal information is handled safely and securely.
How do I buy an eTicket? What do I have to do?
I’m sure most of you are savvy at buying tickets online. But just in case, here’s a quick run through.
Buying an eTicket is simple, and even simpler if you’re an endclub.com user – so sign up and login before making your purchase. All you have to do is visit www.endclub.com, go to our ‘What’s On’ section, click on the event you wish to go to, click on the ‘Buy Tickets’ icon and then choose ‘The End eTickets’.
You’re then taken to stage one where you choose the number of tickets. You will have to fill in your name and date of birth if you are not subscribed as an endclub.com user, but if you are subscribed and logged in, the website will remember these automatically. Click on the ‘Proceed to Worldpay’ button which will take you to the endclub.com Worldpay secure site where you choose your payment method and fill in your card details. We accept Maestro, Solo and most major credit cards.
Once the payment has been submitted, you should receive two emails. One is a Worldpay receipt of payment, the other is your eTicket; this will contain your name, DOB, number of tickets bought, plus a barcode with a reference number. The barcode will be scanned or verified using our ticket list during the night of the event, and each ticket can only be used once.
What do I have to bring on the night of the event?
To make your entry to the club as smooth as possible, please bring your eTicket email print-out with you, plus one additional form of identification. Once you arrive at The End please join the advance ticket queue. Remember, we do ask those lucky enough to look under 21 for photo ID to prove they are over 18, so please don’t forget!
What are the benefits?
As a ticket holder you get guaranteed entry up until midnight, extremely handy when demand is that little bit higher, say on a Ram Records birthday or when the likes of Richie Hawtin or Sven Vath are in town.
You can buy entrance for up to 6 people, ideal for forward planning a night out with friends and for getting into the club that little bit quicker.
If you’re from out of town, or even out of the country, and want to come to The End when in London, buying an advance ticket means you have one less thing to worry about on your weekend visit.
In the near future we will be able to offer customers special ticket alerts to their favourite events, a loyalty scheme and access to various special discounts and promotions.
I have been buying Ticketweb tickets via The End for years. Can I still use them?
Yes. We understand that some of you have been using Ticketweb for some time and may want to stick with the system. For the majority of our events, customers will be able to choose between the two.
What can I do if I need help and additional info about my End eTicket?
Any queries, you can drop us an email at tickets@endclub.com or info@endclub.com and we will get back to you as soon as possible. You can also phone The End on 020 7419 9199 during office hours. If you have any problems during the night of the event, then ask to speak to a Duty Manager who will be able to assist you.
