DJ T’s career began twenty years ago in his native Frankfurt. In his time in the music business he has worked not only as a DJ and producer, but also as a journalist, publisher, label owner and club promoter. Throughout the 90’s he played at most of the city’s seminal clubs, from Dorian Gray to The Box. In 1999, DJ T and a group of other like-minded music lovers in the city opened a new club – Monza - which to this day continues to be one of Germany’s key nightlife institutions. In 2002 DJ T, along with M.A.N.D.Y. and Booka Shade, started seminal house, techno and electro label Get Physical. The label has been hugely influential in shaping the current musical landscape, scooping DJ Mag’s Label of the Year award in 2005. In the same year DJ T released his artist album ‘Boogie Playground’, which perfectly encapsulated his style – all quirky bouncy basslines with snatches of disco, funk and electro. His DJ sets take in a wealth of musical influences and never fail to get a crowd dancing whether at 6pm or 6am.
