But dan would you have picked those records in the first place? Djing is not just about technique and everyone has off days. In my opinion picking the right tunes is equaly if not more important.

My friends were there that night and said he blew them away. They wanted to see James play but Kieran was too good they couldn't leave the lounge!!

'Mate' yes i've heard jeff mills play. and i agree yes it's a live mix wcich is great, no computers etc. i know many dj's, myself included which could have mixed those records better, turntables, cd decks, whatever.

Mate, you ever heard Jeff Mills play? Everyone drops mixes, so what, it's recorded live not done on a computer. Hebden has always rocked the lounge at Border Community, and his tunes have always complimented what's going on in the rest of the club and he's created a great atmosphere IMO. I was here at this party and the lounge was packed all night. Loved it when he played Aril Brikha 'Groove La Chord' (01hr54mins), one of my favourite techno records EVER!!!

These are real live mixes and are way better for it. Too much ableton composed clinical nonsense around if you ask me (which you didn't! The beauty of the forum eh?). I think this mix is wicked.
