Hyde Park
Not so great during the winter months, but when Summer rolls around its a great place to just chill out and pretty much do nothing!
The Hemingford Pub, Barnsbury, Islington
It's a bit hidden away but worth seeking out. This is one of my favourite pubs in London. This place has so much character. Combine it with 'Real Ale' and an Irish band playing in the corner and it can't be beaten.
Portobello Market
Just great for finding stuff you didn't know you needed until you saw it!
Le Mercury restaurant, Upper St, Islington
A great bistro-style French restaurant with great food, candle lit tables, dim lighting - It was the first place I took my girlfriend - It must have worked because now she's my wife!!
Regents Canal - Angel to Camden
It's great to walk alongside the canal. Kind of like another world under the hustle and bustle of London, there are some great pubs along the way too!!
