Some of music's most historic moments came out of impromptu performances - think Hendrix 'Star Spangled Banner' at Woodstock, The Beatles on the roof of Abbey Road in '69 or even the chaotic early Libertines gigs - people go mad for them. So when Miss Kittin turned up unexpectedly at Laurent Garnier on Saturday and joined him behind the decks, you can imagine the buzz of excitement. OK, they didn't change the world, but boy did that crowd get their money's worth, they had the place absolutely rocking! Up in AKA meanwhile, Luke Solomon was rolling out quality house music all night long at his excellent Little Creatures residency with guest Justin Harris.
