Sometimes you've just got to put pen to paper and write it all down. Maybe you're planning to turn it into a collection of witty short stories about your clubbing heyday, or you're saving it to read to your grandchildren, we don't know. clink street reunion with shoom was a wicked one off. class of 88 a few months later will never be forgotten. there were a few hours that matched the past. that is an achievement. lets hope we get the chance again before we leave what we created. big thanks to the Dare brothers for the introduction more than 20 years ago. si shilst

All good things must come to an end, and it is a crying shame that the end is now reaching its end. At the young age of 21 I have only been clubbing ‘propa’ for three years. My first big night out was the Ram Records Christmas Party in 2005, sadly Ram Records at the End is soon to be no longer. So let me briefly tell you about the last ever Ram Records Christmas Party. Its 11pm on Friday 19th December and its rather chilly outside, luckily I have my ticket in hand and bypass the normal paying queue, which by this point, is one in one out. I walk down the stairs into the dingy bass-ment and am amazed that the main room is all ready Ramo! Andy C is not on for another hour so I decide to go for a wander. IC3 is playing a nice crunchy electro/breaks/dubstep in the lounge (shame he can’t mix!). We mince around in here for a bit and then take things upstairs to AKA. From this point on I can’t really remember much. I think I heard the end of Andy C’s set and then got my gurn on. Next thing I know im outside having a quick cig and Sub Focus is stood next to me, we have a little chat and then I sell him a chili pepper for a quid (not sure where I got the chili from, why I tried to sell it to him or why he bought it for that matter). My mind is blank from this point onwards. 8.00am comes around far too quickly and Andy C is back in the box and about to spin the last ever tune at Ram at the End, everyone seems rather emotional…then the tune drops, its a dirty, filthy, stinking nasty, grimy one and everybody stomps out for one last time. Boy im gonna miss this place. Ram records at Matter; will it live up to its unfaultable predecessor? I think probably not!

Hi, i went to the 13th birthday on saturday. all i can say is i am so sad this place is shutting down all the Djs played wicked sets but for me the winner of the night was MR. C. Almost a week has gone by and i'm still raving about to my mates about this night. for use of better words his set was FUCKING SICK. He played tune after tune of really nice chunky bassey minimal with no sign of letting up then to round off the evening he mixed in some ska. i must admit i don't usually listen to ska but it felt so right for the time. it brought the evening to a comfortable satisfying close. well done every one the end will be sadly missed see ya at the closing party.

Im an old skool girl and have been coming to The End for at least 10 years...went to Circo Loco saturday...absolutely blinding night!!! Gutted The End will be closing, i know they say all good fings come to an end but boy will i miss this amazing club, in all the years ive been coming i have never been disappointed!!!

can't believe its the end!.its the one place we can come and feel at home.wicked people,all there for the same reason,the music!!!!..so glad i've got plenty of tales to tell,of the end.most have tickets for last nite,please give us info asap.xxxx

Was at "The End" Saturday and what a night! I would say even on par with Viva which is the best night ever! Keep up the the good work Layo & Bushwacka!!! Come On!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
