Natraj

Number one on my list is a restaurant called Natraj. It's so beautiful there; they only have about 6 tables, so you know the quality is really good and that the service is really personal and friendly. Also, Natraj is the only Indian restaurant that has a drink called Citara, which is Sugar cane juice, ginger and lemon, or if you like they can add vodka - unbelievable!!! I always have a good night out when we start off there.

Buzios Area

Buzios! What an amazing place, you can relax, go to the beach and see some beautiful women!! The whole atmosphere of the place is really laid back and cool. I love it in Buzios and always try and spend time there whenever I am in Rio.

Privilege Club

Privilege Club, also in Buzios, is a lovely club, one of my favourites in Brazil. The atmosphere is excellent! The sound system is really good also, and the staff that work and promote there are really switched on and know what they are doing in every respect.

Febre

This D&B night, run by DJ Calbuque, a pioneer over there, has been running every Thursday now for eight years!! That's a really good record for a club night, but it deserves it as it is one of the best nights I've been to in a while. I always try and go to see Calbuque and sample the atmosphere in Febre.

Samba School Mangueira

If you've never seen live samba drums, you must go to Mangueira, you'll feel and see something you will have never seen before. Imagine more than 100 drums being played at the same time, all in perfect rhythm, it really is something you have to see to believe! If you go to Rio one day in the future, make this a priority!
