Miguel Migs - Secret San Francisco
The Salted boss introduces us to his regular hangouts
Citrus Club
An insanely good Asian fusion noodle house up on Haight Street! Super cheap and amazing food made fresh right in front of your face!....Great sake drinks as well!....
The Independent
A great small venue owned by my boy Michael O'Conner, they are always booking great bands there of all kinds! Check out the schedule because there will be something you will want to check out, so you can't sleep on it!
Ferry Building
A great spot to go and chill outside for lunch or dinner right on the water overlooking the bay! A few places to choose from depending on what you're in the mood for, my favourites being the slanted door (Vietnamese) and the Hog Island oyster depot for happy hour (dollar beers and oysters)! Also, check out the amazing farmers' markets they have there on the weekends.
Kabuki Hot Springs
Relax and get a massage after a long flight at this ultra chilled-out spa! Work out those kinks!
Gordo's
The best taqueria in town (one of them anyway)!...You can't come to SF and not get some ridiculously good Mexican food as it's all over the place. But Gordos has exceptionally slammin' burritos and tacos with the best hot sauce this side of the border! My favorite being the grilled chicken with sour cream and guac!
The Owl Tree!
A tiny OLD school neighborhood bar in the TL with a great jukebox full of old Billie Holiday, Ella and Sinatra... Great strong cheap drinks and lots of owls everywhere you turn!
