I once spoke with Richard late night after a gig [of his] in New York when I was living there--he argued that a dj mix is the ultimate expression, versus a recording that other cats would listen to and play. while I was dumbfounded that he would clown "move any mountain" because that joint is tighter than a mafucker.... well, actually, he mocked the song. it took me a second to realize that this man is one step ahead of me. that's why I like evil eddie and mr c.
