Club Night Profile
New Opera ruled the first Sunday of every month for almost 3 years, and was THE Sunday night party to be at. Luca Elle and Rap Saunders were the faithful residents, with some of house music’s greatest talents such as Lil Louise Vega and Frankie Feliciano dropping in as guests. The best thing about New Opera, though, was the crowd. Every single person made the effort – whether it was a hat, sunglasses, a feather in your hair…the crowd looked good and loved to party. New Opera attracted a very cosmopolitan bunch of clubbers, and Clandestino is its natural successor – with the same glamorous crowd, but a music policy more influenced by the European electro and techno sound.
