Virus is one of drum & bass’ most important labels, shaping the sound of the tech step style drum & bass that was so prominent in the late 90s. The definitive album of the era was Ed Rush & Optical’s ‘Wormhole’ and it was at The End that they held its launch. They went on to hold a residency at the club for many years, championing the Virus sound along with guests from across the scene.
