New York producer Abe Duque had quite a religious start to his musical career. His dad was both a talented musician and an evangelical minister, so young Abe started off playing the keyboard in his Dad's church. After getting into DJing and production in the 80's, he started his first record label Tension in 1993, followed by two more labels Rapture Records and the self titled Abe Duque Records. He can flit between genres as often as you change your socks, producing under various different styles from techno to downtempo to house to electronic jazz. His DJing style takes in tough acid tinged tech house.
