You’d expect someone raised in the Balearic Islands to have some sort of affinity with electronic music, and Alexkid hasn’t disappointed. He returned to his native Paris in the 1980’s and started playing in noisy guitar groups, before  - like so many others before him – going to a rave and being immediately converted. Music must have been in his blood, as one of his first productions was snapped up by none other than Monsieur Laurent Garnier himself. He’s now on his third LP ‘Caracol’, has released a stack of 12”s on labels such as !K7 and Dessous, and holds his Ghetto Blaster parties in Paris, Berlin and London – including here at The End.
