Bugged Out favourite Boys Noize is German electro and techno producer Alex Ridha. He describes his sound as like, “4 times punching into a fried egg.” What he means by that is anyone’s guess, but if he’s trying to say “loud, brash, energetic, exciting electro punk” then he may just have hit the nail on the head. Boys Noize is also the name of his label through which he releases his own tracks, giving him the freedom to produce what he wants when he wants without unnecessary hype. And take it from us – this boy doesn’t need anyone hyping him up, his tracks speak for themselves. He’s released tunes on labels such as Kitsune, Turno and Deejay Gigolos and turned out some excellent remixes of artists such as Bloc Part and Depeche Mode. He dropped his debut album ‘Oi Oi Oi’ in September 2007 and the remix work and DJ gigs just keep rolling in. Don’t expect this boy to quieten down any time soon…
