Daso was born in India and raised in Germany, where he currently lives. A rising star of the German house & techno scene, his live sets add an exciting new dimension to his music when he plays out. His productions are categorised by deep basslines and warm melodic synths, taking melodies that wouldn’t have sounded out of place on a vintage Global Underground mix back in the progressive heyday, and combining them with a noises from the current cleaner, crisper, edgier musical climate. The result is tracks that are both elegantly controlled and full of emotion at the same time. He also names a lot of his tunes after Absinthe, which in our book gains him ten more points for being pretty fucking cool.
