Dean Muhsin’s obsession with music began as a fascination with his old brother’s record collection. Dean constantly spirited Kraftwerk’s ‘Tour De France’ and Doug E Fresh’s ‘The Show’ from his brother’s room – fuelling a lifelong love affair with what he termed as ‘robot-music’. Fast through time and Dean is now working in music, plus garnering much praise as a DJ. Previously a label manager for Kingsize, Adrift and Lot49 he’s helped release music from the likes of Chicken Lips, Audiofly and many others, and now his uber-cool Dispersion PR company means he is responsible for promoting some of the most cutting edge music around. Has held residencies at much lauded clubs Urban Gorilla and The Plug, and now resides at the monthly Codex party at AKA. Tireless in his attitude towards music, Dean is one half of Bearweasel (with Louisa Page), and is releasing material on Supernature, Tsuba and Perc Trax. He is also behind the deep house label Hairy Claw alongside Stevie ‘Bear Funk’ Kotey.
