Producer / remixer extraordinaire Ewan Pearson first hit the scene in the mid-90’s, releasing several tracks under the alter-ego ‘Maas’- which he took out as a live act playing various venues - including The End. In the early noughties his focus switched to DJing rather than playing live, and his reputation as a producer and remixer has just continued to rise. Ewan has worked his magic on acts as diverse as The Rapture, Dot Allison, Playgroup, Black Strobe, Nelly Furtado, and Ladytron to name but few. His productions and remixes are steeped in melancholy whilst still managing to be powerfully uplifting. More recently he has produced Tracy Thorn’s album ‘Out of the Woods’, remixed Audiofly and Paul Harris’ ‘Miscalate’ and beautifully reworked Cortney Tidwell’s Don’t Let the Stars Keep Us Tangled Up. Hugely admired by clubbers and fellow producers alike, Ewan Pearson is undoubtedly one of the finest producers of our time. And he’s no slouch behind the decks either!
