Dan Ormondroyd and Jon Nowell started making a noise together when they were still in single figures, with a little tape recorder and some dodgy old cassette tapes. These days they are still making a noise, although now it's throbbing, robotic, futuristic music that fits vaguely under the house tag, packed with squelchy sounds, spaced out keys and manic guitar riffs. Their debut album 'Machine Says Yes' attracted rave reviews in the dance music press, and their hi-octane live performances frequently turn the dancefloor into a mosh pit.
