Going under a number of aliases, of which the most famous is feline in nature, Felix Stallings has been one of the key protagonists, if unintentionally, in bringing about the electro revival that shot the energy back into UK clubland at the turn of the 21st century. The DJ and producer was one of the second wave of Chigaco house producers, and over two decades on shows no sign of losing his relevance.  Some of his stand-out works include collaborations with fellow pussy-cat Miss Kitten on ‘Kittenz and Thee Glitz’, particularly the awesome ‘Silver Screen’. The success of this album brought Felix offers of remix work from Madonna and Kylie Minogue, and suddenly this house music revolutionary was in the charts. With a third album ‘Virgo Blaktro and the Movie Disco’ due out, and remix work continuing to pour in, this is certainly a cat with at least nine lives.
