DJ Profile
Alongside James Priestly, Giles Smith started up secretsundaze, one of London’s most colourful parties which has gone from a handful of mates on a Sunday afternoon to attracting queues around the block for almost every single party they do. Setting themselves apart from other club nights with their forward-looking bookings policy, their adventurous choice of locations and, of course, making Sunday afternoon a prime clubbing time – secretsundaze has gone from strength to strength. Giles had only been DJing for a year when secretsundaze launched, but he quickly made a name for himself with his combination of deep melodic house and tech-house. He currently has a show on Samuri FM, and has recently turned his hand to production – working with Martin Dawson (King Roc) on a release for Dessous. He’s played at The End plenty of times for the likes of Cocoon and Superfreq – and no doubt he’ll be back in the near future.
