Another great talent to come out of Brazil, Gui Boratto began his career in advertising, but thankfully for the music world, in 2005 decided to concentrate all his efforts on production. ‘Beautiful Life’, the stand out track from his debut album ‘Chromophobia’, is built around a simple hook so brilliantly uplifting it dances around your head for hours. A producer who has quietly crept into the boxes of deep house, minimal, progressive and techno DJ’s, he has also become extremely in demand as a remixer, reworking artists such as Adam Freeland and Agoria. ‘Chromophobia’ received rave reviews and became one of the stand-out dance artist albums of 2007. Alongside his production commitments he runs the Brazilian independent record label Megamusic.
