Headman has made his name as king of the remix in the last few years. It started after he worked his magic on Seenluft’s ‘Manila’ in 2002, and since then he has been inundated with remix requests from The Rapture, Royksopp, Scissor Sisters and other high profile artists. More recently he created a dancefloor friendly version of The Gossip’s ‘Standing in the Way of Control’. Somehow he manages to find the core energy of a track and multiply it tenfold. As well as scattering fairy dust over other artists work, he has released two albums, both for which he did the artwork himself. In addition, he runs the excellent Relish recordings and DJs at clubs and festivals around the world, including a stint as Soulwax’s official tour DJ which saw him rocking crowds of hysterical fans all over the shop. Expect to hear more Headman remixed blasting out of a radio near you soon…
