Two girls, two guys, some guitars, some Casio keyboard sounds, sugar sweet rap-singing and some filthy basslines. That’s what makes Holy Hail – a band who has been much hyped, but is doing a rather grand job of living up to the hype thankyou very much. Pleasingly rhythmic guitars and satisfying bleepy noises combined with a mixture of male and female vocals make up a band that have clearly defined their musical territory. So much so that we can even forgive singer Cat for the fact she used to be in a band called Fannypack.
