Quirky DJ and producer I:Cube been making a fantastically surreal contribution to French electronica for over a decade. As a solo artist he has produced three albums – ‘Picnic Attack’, ‘Adore’ and ‘3’, but he also makes beautiful records with Gilb’R as Chateau Flight. The pair met when I:Cube started sending demos to Gilb’R, who was in the process of starting up his own label Versatile, and I:Cube became the first artist to be signed. His first release ‘Disco Cubism’ was remixed by Daft Punk, and represented all that was good about the wave of house music coming out of France. One of the many excellent guests to play at Will Saul’s Simple records party.
