DJ Profile
Front Room Recordings boss Jesse Rose has been playing records for going on two decades. He built an early reputation as a top promoter and DJ around Bristol with old friend Jamie Anderson, playing sounds across the 4/4 spectrum, but after moving back to his home town in ’97 his DJ career begun to take off. By 2000 he had launched his Front Room Recordings imprint with Chris Belsey. The label has since gone from strength to strength, receiving support and acclaim from throughout the house music scene with an artist roster that boasts the likes of Rob Mello, Stefan Goldmann, Trevor Loveys and Solid Groove, as well as Jesse himself. Jesse’s developing production skills culminated in his debut artist album in 2006 called ‘More Than One’, which saw Jesse teaming up with the likes of Henrik Schwarz, Domu and Chris Duckenfield on the record’s eleven tracks. He also has an extraordinarily strong track record for remixing others’ work, with re-workings of the likes of Layo & Bushwacka!, Jimpster, Radio Slave, Simian Mobile Disco and Claude Von Stroke in his catalogue. His renowned skills behind the turntables saw him release a mix CD as part of Get Physical’s awesome Body Language series and have seen him DJing at many nights here at The End & AKA including the likes of Will Saul’s Simple Records.
