Philadelphia-born Josh Wink is an absolute titan of dance music.  His production career stretches back to 1993 with early releases on the massive New York based label Strictly Rhythm.  In late ’94 he launched his imprint Ovum Recordings, which as well as enjoying a residency for a spell here at The End, became one of house music’s most enduring labels.  It’s maintained consistent quality throughout its lifespan and remained at the cutting edge, offering an outlet over the last few years for the music of D’Julz, Loco Dice, Steve Bug and Stefan Goldmann amongst many others.  Although Josh’s massive worldwide hit ‘Higher State of Consciousness’ is what he is remembered for by many, the depth of his catalogue extends far beyond that, and in recent years he has been releasing music on some of the most exceptional labels in house and techno, such as Minus, Pokerflat and Rekids.  He remains a hugely respected figure in the scene and continues to make guest appearances as a massively popular headline act here at The End.
