Born in Poland but growing up in Detroit, Magda began DJing over a decade ago - as part as the all-female Women on Wax collective. In 1999, she moved into a more techno-driven sound, and soon after came to the attention of one Richie Hawtin - becoming his opening DJ of choice for his parties including Epok on the millennium. She's now a staple in the Minus camp, releasing under the name Run Stop Restore alongside Marc Houle and Troy Pierce, as well as under her own name. In recent years she's stepped out from Hawtin's shadow, proving herself a worthy headline DJ in her own right.
