Dylan Barnes and Rob Davy have been producing and DJing together as Mutiny since 1996. Well known and much loved for their party-starting jacking house – their DJ sets and productions also reflect their diverse musical backgrounds. Dylan played in funk and jazz bands, before hooking up with Simon Ratcliffe and producing the house classic ‘On Ya Way’ by Helicopter, whilst Rob began remixing for various house and hip-hop artists. As well as running the Sunflower Records imprint, they signed to Darren Emerson’s Underwater label in 2002, and mixed ‘Underwater Volume 2’ for the label. With two artist albums under their belt, several dancefloor burners including ‘Virus’ from the first album and ‘Ya Self’ from their second, plus a huge international following as far away as Japan, these two trouble makers are here to stay.
