Biography

A full paid up member of James Holden’s Border Community family, Nathan Fake is one of the most exciting and innovative young producers on the scene. Having ridden through the hype surrounding his early releases – the powerful ‘Outhouse’ and his awe inspiring ‘The Sky was Pink’ - and come out the other side intact, he got his head down and kept on producing great music. His tracks take elements of rock, techno, ambient, breakbeat, and (dare we say it) even the melodies of trance. If you could see his music, it would make you stop in your tracks and gawp in amazement - as it is, on the dancefloor the complex sounds wrap themselves around your brain in a delicious all encompassing musical fog that you can get lost in for hours. Refreshingly in this ‘everyone’s-a-DJ’ climate, rather than jump behind the decks he’s concentrated on perfecting his live show. One man and his laptop set to conquer the world? We wouldn’t put it past him…
