DJ, promoter, journalist, A&R supremo and Pete Tong's right hand man when it comes to picking tunes - is there anything that Nico de Ceglia doesn't do? Having his fingers in so many musical pies probably stems from growing up immersed in music across the genres, from classical to synth-pop - reflecting his diverse taste and encyclopaedic musical knowledge. He began his DJing career in Italy whilst studying architecture and then media at university, then moved to London in the mid-90's whilst continuing to work with Italian record labels and radio stations. As well as being a regular fixture on the London club scene he has DJ'd all over the world from Miami to Ukraine, and of course frequently returns to Italy to play. He promotes and DJ's at Codex - monthly Thursdays at AKA - pushing deep, electronic house music.
