DJ Profile
Nocturnal
Australian duo Nocturnal have spent the last few years causing a real stir in the darkest circles of drum & bass. Moving to London in 2003 and setting up their studio together it wasn’t long before their dark, infectious tunes were getting picked up by the drum & bass elite. Their first release, ‘Crater’ produced with Prolix, was picked up by Renegade Hardware for their tenth anniversary compilation ‘Guerilla Warfare’, marking them out as ones to watch. More releases swiftly followed with contributions to more Hardware compilations ‘Carpe Diem’, ‘Fear No Evil’ and ‘Welcome To Shanktown’ and a 12” on Dylan’s Freak Recordings imprint. The interest in their tunes has led to bookings and some of London’s best drum & bass night, including Therapy Sessions and Renegade Hardware at The End. With their stars firmly in the ascendancy, Nocturnal’s twisted grooves will surely be blessing The End’s sound system for many parties to come…
