Pendulm burst onto the drum bass scene in 2002 like a surge of pent up energy, bringing their own very unique take on drum & bass to the world. Although drum & bass purists were divided on opinion of the Australian threesome, there is no denying that these guys know how to tear the roof off a party. Their debut album ‘Hold Your Colour’ sold over 100,000 copies, and gave drum & bass a rare excursion into the pop charts. They wanted to tackle the dance/rock crossover properly, and with tracks like ‘Fasten Your Seatbelt’ they more than proved that they were no one-trick pony, but rather a fresh force in dancemusic that were only going to get bigger.
