DJ Profile
Plastician, aka Chris Reed, spawns from the exotic British heights of Croydon, and made his name on the garage scene playing on various pirate radio stations until he moved into production releasing his first track ‘Venom’ in 2002. Two years later, garage had become grime and Chris had become one of the top grime-playas establishing his own Terrorhythm Recordings imprint. It was around that time that he participated on Aphex Twin’s Rephlex label which raised his profile considerably with a BBC Radio One Residency slot, a tour of the USA, a DJ slot at the uber-cool London dubstep night FWD and tasty remixes under his belt for the likes of M.I.A. More recently he has remixed for Kosheen, worked on production for artists such as Lethal B and Wiley and has his his own Grime and Dubstep show on Rinse FM which airs every Monday at 11.
