Red One is one of drum & bass’ most important people – because where would d&b without Ram Records?  Ram is a massively influential label, and Red One is the man who holds it together, as label manager, promoter, resident DJ and producer.  Although he’s been out of the limelight as a producer for a year or two, his production CV stretches back to 1994, and in the late 90s and early 00s his name was a regular occurrence on the release schedules of Ram, and its affiliate labels Frequency and Liftin’ Spirits.  As a DJ he remains an ever present on Ram line ups and at clubs around the world, and with Red One set to return to the studio, we can expect clubs to be rocking to his tunes again soon.
