The Shapeshifters shot to fame with ‘Lola’s Theme’ – a track that crossed the divide and was played by under and overground DJ’s the world over. Simon Marlin, one half of the duo, used to run the ever-successful Peppermint Jam nights at AKA, which relaunched as Nocturnal at the end of 2003. These days their Nocturnal parties fill dancefloors across the UK and beyond, and in fact returned to their 'spiritual home' of AKA in 2007. Simon and his production partner Max Reich continue to produce quality house music – with a second album released in 2008.
