Without a doubt two of the most respected and influential figures on the Scottish club scene, Stuart Macmillan and Orde Meikle's contribution to dance music in the last fifteen years has been phenomenal. Their Soma label was an early champion of Daft Punk, and has helped launch the careers of artists such as Silicone Soul, Alex Smoke and Funk D'Void. Not content with packing out Glasgow institution The Arches on a regular basis, they now run the infamous Slam tent at T in the Park, and DJ all over the world. Seldom has one act produced so many stand out tracks with still no sign of running out of steam! From early classics 'Positive Education' and 'Eterna', to the awesome 'Visions' and more recently the heart-wrenchingly emotional 'Azure' - they just keep delivering the goods. Their Soma nights at The End at the end of the 90's were intense, sweaty and unforgettable.
