Spirit has been making beats for the best part of a decade.  Although his name is permanently associated with that of Digital, largely due to the shelf-life of some of their collaborative tracks – who could forget ‘Phantom Force’ - his solo work has seen many of his finest moments.  His catalogue of work has seen Spirit regularly release tracks on such seminal labels as Metalheadz and Renegade Hardware as well as occasionally finding himself on the likes of Commercial Suicide and Revolve:r. The bulk of his work has been on the Timeless’ roster of labels that include Timeless itself, Digital’s Function Records, Spirit’s own Inneractive and their joint label Phantom Audio.  Inneractive has largely been a vehicle for his own material, but with releases on the way from the likes of Chris SU and Insight the label looks to be expanding its roster of artists.  As a DJ, Spirit retains a solid reputation which is well deserved, as shown by our recording from Hardware – giving Spirit the opportunity to explore his darker side…
