Berlin based Stefan Goldmann started his career with some huge releases on the legendary Classic imprint, run by Derrick Carter and Luke Solomon.  His debut release, ‘The Shnic Shnac EP’ in 2002, set out his stall as a highly skilled deep house producer and as his releases and remixes continued on Classic he generated a reputation as one to watch.  He’s since emerged as one of the major players in Berlin’s deeper house and techno scene with tracks on labels such as Innervisions, Josh Wink’s Ovum, Jesse Rose’s Front Room Recordings and Minus.  His recently launched label Macro Recordings is firmly committed to releasing quality music, well mastered with high standards of manufacturing.  His refreshing, perfectionist attitude to the presentation of his label’s output, marries well with the high standards he has always maintained in his studio work.  Stefan is a richly talented producer, DJ and now record label boss.  He has played at The End & AKA on several occasions, including nights such as Will Saul’s Simple Records.
