The Blood Arm are an LA based band formed in 2003 and described by XFM as a cross between Franz Ferdinand, The Doors and The Strokes.  They swiftly became one of the most dynamic and exciting bands on the LA scene, and on the strength of their self-released and limited edition debut album of tracks, they won spots supporting the likes of The Sunshine Underground, Maximo Park, The Killers, Hot Hot Heat and Franz Ferdinand on tour.  Signed to City Rockers, they released their full debut in 2006, entitled ‘Lie Lover Lie’, which earned them critical acclaim particularly in the UK.  Their energetic and chaotic live shows, characterised by the erratic showmanship of frontman Nathaniel Fregoso, have won them legions of fans the world over, not least with the Trash crowd, to whom they performed in the build up to the release of their debut LP.
