The Electric press are Wesley Gill and Tom Taylor – two self confessed Northern monkeys who have made it their mission to put some funk back into electronic music. When they formed in 2004, their unique brand of infectious beats and electronic synth-funk provided a breath of fresh air, and they were quickly snapped up by Ralph Lawson’s 2020 Vision label. Their remixes of artists such as DJ T and Erykah Badu received support from many top DJs, and they have taken their live show far across the globe. With a residency at much loved London club night DDD and more productions in the pipeline, these two are definitely not going away.
