The multi-talented, multi-instrumental Tom Vek taught himself how to play all the instruments in the basic rock line up in his parents’ garage. He recorded his debut album ‘We Have Sound’ on a basic analogue set-up, all the while studying graphic design at St Martins College. Part rock, part electronica and part funk, with raw sounding drums and guitars intertwined with electronic beats and his own vocals, the album sounded quite unlike anything else out there. A natural choice to play an outstanding live gig at Trash in 2005.
