Vincent Vincent and the Villains have carved out a unique niche for themselves in the last few years - playing decidedly modern, decidedly British rock 'n' roll with a 50s twist. As a young man allowed to rummage through his father's record collection, Vincent discovered the visceral power of 50s rock 'n' roll 45s. The result is quite unlike anything else around - rock 'n' roll songs with real meaning, depth, and a voodoo-like magnetic attraction that makes people dance. Sharply dressed without being a retro package, the band's style has seen them featured in the pages of many a fashionable publication, but Vincent is adamant that this should be seen as a group that has both its substance and its songwriting at the forefront of its concerns.
