Before Stuart Price hooked up with Madonna and the mainstream music press started noticing him, he worked for years recording, producing and remixing under various aliases, including Thin White Duke, Les Rythmes Digitales and Jacques Lu Cont. In 1999, alongside Adam and Johnny Blake, and now Beatrice Hatherley – he set up Zoot Woman: a distinctive sounding live band that was in equal parts rock, pop and electronica. They burst into the scene with a killer combination of irrepressible guitar hooks, irresistible melodies and irreverent vocals. Two strong albums and several excellent singles later and they still maintain a fiercely loyal fan base and a cult following. They absolutely stormed the End’s lounge at Trash.
