About Me: DJ Rescue first appears on Czech club scene in the year 1999. Soon after presenting himself to the audience with his first demo, Rescue performs as a resident DJ in the CZ Beat club on the evening named after Baysound Night. To play at the clubs and to be able to be in contact with people through means of music are factors that strongly motivate Rescue to go after his passion – becoming a professional DJ and producer. His potential was so big, that during the first two years he performs with names such as DJ Trava and DJ Loutka. At the end of 2004, they start-off their Old School party, the Mixer. At the begining, Rescue appeared at the Houseboat Bukanyr, Ultramarine, Studio 54, Club 39, Karlovy Lazne and the legendary Roxy club. In the year 2000, Rescue joins the Pure Rhythm Sound System. This group has produced a number of successful jams, such as chill-outs at the Roxy, as well as the resident night in Roxy (Pure Rhythm Sessions) and they appeared as guest DJ’s on regular Monday evening parties – the Free Mondays. Pure Rhythm Sound System is also known for their performances at the Bordel Open Air Festivals. One of the most important moments for Rescue was a party held near the Probostsky Lake at 2001.Performing there were The End Sound System (Layo, Bushwacka, Mr. C). Since then, in his eyes, they became the most acknowledged and recognized DJ’s whose work has had a major influence on DJ Rescue. The pulsating, rhythmic tech-house music with the additional atmospheric elements and a touch of break-beat is just the combination which Rescue uses to make the crowd dance. In this manner he introduces the unique vibes which arouse euphoria while giving the perfect opportunity to abreact. His performances are not an impersonal imitation of any kind because Rescue is putting all of his commitment and energy into his performance. That makes his appearances unique. Rescue has also performed on radio shows such as Vinyl Vibration on Kiss FM, Dance Extravaganza on Europe 2 and the online programmes of Radio Akropolis and Radio Jeleni. In addition, he appeared as a guest DJ in Roxy, Futuresoundz, Mixer, Climax, Mix, Nightphunk as well as Radost FX, Mecca, Bang Bang, Duplex, Akropolis and others. Since 2002 Rescue works in a, at that time, newly opened vinyl record store Fosny.cz and was the store manager until 2004.His other activities include the making of individualistic clothing, and he is a cofounder of brand names Pure Rhythm Wear CO. and Starford.
