James Priestly is best known as one of the founding members of London clubbing institution secretsundaze – one of the nights that really kick started the Sunday afternoon warehouse party scene in the capital, and is still one of the original and best. Not so secret anymore, their parties attract queues round the block every summer, and they’ve spread their wings to throw secretsundaze parties in Ibiza, Austria and Barcelona. The success of secretsundaze brought recognition for the club’s talented residents, and more gigs came flooding in from Berlin to Tokyo. James has also been making a name for himself as a producer, with several remixes under his belt and his debut track being snapped up by Will Saul’s Simple label. With a secretsundaze compilation on the shelves and his own label in the pipeline, James is no longer one to watch but a firmly established name on the scene.
