One half of the formidable Issst partnership (alongside Bobby M), Kevin has helped turn an intimate London warehouse party into a global clubbing brand, without losing any of the magic or underground spirit that they started with. With a style that’s packed full of the finest electronic beeps, quirky house, acid and electro with soul, he’s become a DJ in high demand not just in London but across the globe. Few parties have built up such a reputation in such a short period of time (Issst only began in 2005), but with guests such as Digitalism, DJ Hell and The Hacker and a house party vibe, it’s not surprising that 2006 saw them undertake a worldwide tour, and 2007 saw the release of a mix for the highly respected Global Underground label. What’s next for Kevin Griffiths and Issst? Big things that’s for sure. Watch this space.
