Paul Arnold is a pioneering figure in the UK dance music scene. With the legendary Certificate 18, and the groundbreaking Fat! Records, he has been behind two scene-shaping imprints. Certificate 18 was responsible for the development of such drum & bass greats as Photek, Klute and Teebee, whilst Fat! has been one of breakbeat scene's leaders from day one, pushing the sound through their innovative releases and Chew The Fat! parties.

Paul 'Trouble' Arnold has enjoyed equal success as a promoter, DJ, and Label Manager; everything he's done reflects how tight his finger is on the pulse of contemporary music. On Paul's arrival in London he established the capital's first dedicated breakbeat night Breaking Point. This spawned Chew The Fat!, Brixton's weekly night at The Bug Bar, which Paul ran for six years before moving to The End.

Since then, Paul's inimitable style and effortless ability to mix up the best breaks, house, techno, broken beats and more have earned him a worldwide fan base and a slew of residencies as far afield as Hungary, Barcelona, Berlin, Georgia and the Far East.

Chew The Fat!, one of the longest running breaks nights in the world - and surely Paul's greatest dent on the dance music landscape - continues to prosper. As one of only three nights held every month at The End, Chew The Fat! remains an essential date in the clubbing calendar, and the best place to hear the freshest, funkiest and downright friendliest breaks in London! Needless to say, when Paul Arnold gets behind the decks at Chew The Fat!, all hell breaks loose!
